Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using RetentionDesk ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
RetentionDesk is a SaaS platform that monitors member engagement in paid Discord communities. The Service provides analytics, risk scoring, and retention insights to Discord community owners ("Clients").
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and have the authority to manage the Discord server(s) you connect to RetentionDesk. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.
4. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
5. Discord Bot Permissions
RetentionDesk requires read-only access to your Discord server. The bot will only be granted View Channel and Read Message History permissions. RetentionDesk will never send messages, modify roles, ban members, or take any action within your Discord server.
6. Data Collection and Use
RetentionDesk collects Discord member activity data including message counts, reaction counts, voice join events, and channel visit events. This data is used solely to provide the engagement scoring and retention analytics service. We do not sell, share, or use this data for any purpose other than providing the Service to you.
7. Payment and Billing
Subscription fees are billed monthly. All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice. Founding member rates are locked as specified in your original agreement.
8. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, the bot will be removed from your server and monitoring will cease. Your data will be retained for 30 days after cancellation and then permanently deleted.
9. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate Discord's Terms of Service
- Harass, stalk, or harm your members
- Collect data for purposes other than legitimate community management
- Resell or redistribute access to the Service without authorization
10. Limitation of Liability
RetentionDesk is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription and removing the bot from your server.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify active subscribers of material changes via email.
